Michael P. Connelly has engaged in the practice of law since receiving his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in 1966. During that time, he has acquired extensive jury trial experience in virtually all areas of litigation, including product liability, toxic tort, trademark, contract, insurance coverage, securities, commercial fraud, medical negligence, railroad carrier liability and commercial and general aviation air crash cases. He has argued numerous appeals in state and federal courts and represented clients in both arbitration and mediation forums. He is admitted to the bar in Illinois, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court of the Northern District of Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He has practiced before state and federal courts in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, California, Louisiana and Texas, as well as the Federal Judicial Panel on Multi-District Litigation. He has lectured frequently before professional societies, business and manufacturing groups.
